havent been in here for a minute

Been a bit busy with school and been trying to put in work before Thanksgiving break. The semester is heading into the finals weeks, so I really gotta crack down on the books and stay off the net (so not doing too well with that). The way I see these last few weeks, I see it as the end of the 3rd quarter and on to the 4th. Its time to pump up the Pumps and splash some gatorade on my face and come out with the W. Sorry for the basketball analogies, but thats the only sport im familiar with in terms. So in other words, send out your good vibes my way and help me finish out this semester.

Heres some tunes that have no meaning to this post. Its something thats been on my playlist the last few days.

Oh and I almost forgot. Lately I've been going blurry in a daze mode. And I've been really wanting to find episodes of the Wayans Bros. So luckily I found clips of it on youtube. Man that show brings me back to when I was a kid. Good times good times! Anyways..I'd like to share.

Fight Night

Tonight is night! Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito <--- thats actually a pretty dope last name. Kinda reminds me of Entourage and the episode about Avion Tequila. Ok ok a lil side tracked, but wow tonight is gonna be a big night. If you guys havent seen the history so far between these two men or have seen 24/7 over the past couple of weeks or as I like to call it the "sparknotes" version of just knowing the history behind these two men, then sucks for you. If your like any filipino in the world right now, then I'm sure you know what Pacquiao has been through over the past couple of years or atleast the last couple of months. If you arent like any other filipino, then you prolly arent filipino, but if you are filipino, then you should atleast know the jist of his accomplishments. So far Pacquiao has gone from fighting at 112lbs to become the WBC Flyweight World Champion (2008) then has eaten a whole lotta filipino food each time to become the IBF Junior Featherweight Champion, Super Featherweight Champion, Junior Lightweight Champion, Lightweight Champion, then Junior Welterweight Champion, and now WBO Welterweight Champion at 147lbs. Fuh Im surprised dude hasnt gotten a car-jack arrest (<--sound it out) from all the filipino food! But anyways, with all those accomplishments and being at the top, you just hope he still has the motivation to fight like he is the underdog. Well actually he kinda is the underdog because he stands about 4-5 inches shorter than Margarito. Besides the height difference, you just hope that all that politics and fame hasnt gotten his head floating him up to the sky. As for Margarito,  he suffered a huge controvery in his fight against Shane Mosley back in 2009 in regards to his handwrapping, so he was suspended for a year. Though he hasnt actually been away from boxing from that year, he's been away from boxing in the US. So now he has a chip on his shoulder. Winning this fight could ultimately completely wipe out that whole controvery that happened in 2009 and can very well put him right on the top. 

All questions and uncertainties end tonight. Will Pacquiao continue to beat the bigger and heavier guys? Or are the distractions too much for him to handle, that it can cost him the fight? Will a victory tonight erase the 2009 controvery for Margarito? Or will this completely toss his name down the drain?

daylight savings time overdue

I havent been able to post much for the last couple of days. I've been really busy with school, exams, and papers, that I've been stuck in the bat cave (my room) for the last few weeks. Im tryna get sh*t done so I can relax a bit for Thanksgiving break. Anyways...I'm sure you guys have been catching up on your current events lately. You got your government elections that are causing uncertainty for the US, you got Weezy Eff Baby gettin out of jail, and you got daylight savings time FINALLY comin just within the next couple of hours. So ya...i'll be waiting for well needed Thanksgiving/Christmas break coming up very soon. Speaking of the holiday season, I got a couple of things up for sale. If your interested let me know.

Last but not least, I went to check out Due Date the other night, and I must say it was a pretty good movie. Not hilarious crazy funny, but still pretty good. I heard from a friend its like a mixture of The Hangover and Pineapple Express, and I have to agree.
